As I predicted, the fight as to where the Actos bladder cancer MDL ends up just got a little more heated.
Today, another dog entered the fight for the selection of MDL consolidation. An application was made to have the Actos bladder cancer MDL consolidated with Judge Dan A. Polster in the Northern District of Ohio. This comes after a separate application was filed hoping to consolidate before Judge G. Patrick Murphy in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
I don’t expect this to be the last application pushing for a different venue consolidating the Actos MDL, to be sure.
As my readers are aware, Actos came under fire from the FDA in June after disturbing reports linked Actos to the development of bladder cancer.
