The latest data is out on Pradaxa bleeding events and the numbers are nothing short of downright terrifying.
Pradaxa manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim just put online on “pradaxa.de” some new data on fatal/major bleeds as reported to the company up to end of 2013.
It is shocking to see that despite decreasing Pradaxa prescriptions still, about 60 patients die every month from a Pradaxa bleed.

The only logical conclusion is that the high case fatality of a major bleed with Pradaxa support the hypothesis that the irreversible nature of Pradaxa is responsible for the catastrophic outcome following a bleeding event.
