By Order dated September 27, 2012, U.S. Chief Judge David Herndon has appointed Attorney Michael Brady Lynch, founder of The Michael Brady Lynch Firm in Orlando, FL, to serve on the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee (“PSC”) of In re Pradaxa Products Liability Litigation MDL #2385.
Attorney Michael Brady Lynch has been a leader in Pradaxa litigation nationwide. In his career, Attorney Lynch has represented over a thousand plaintiffs in MDL and state-coordinated mass tort claims, recovering over 200 million dollars in verdicts and settlements. He has held longtime affiliations and leadership positions with, among others, the American Association for Justice, the 360 Advocacy Institute and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and have been extensively involved in the monitoring, drafting and assisting the passage of consumer rights legislation. He has chaired over a dozen national conferences on complex pharmaceutical litigation and has lectured at over two dozen more conferences and seminars on pharmaceutical litigation nationwide. Attorney Lynch has lectured on three separate occasions for the American Association for Justice and once for Mass Torts Made Perfect on the regulatory and product labeling issues in Pradaxa litigation.
“It is an honor to be appointed the Pradaxa PSC and I look forward to working with such a great core group of plaintiff attorneys on the advancement of this litigation”, said Lynch. “If there is ever a case that needs immediate and aggressive action in the name of public health and American consumers, it is Pradaxa. Pradaxa bleeding dangers have truly approached epidemic levels.” Other attorneys appointed by Judge Herndon to the Pradaxa PSC include nationally recognized trial lawyers Mikal Watts of the firm Watts, Guerra & Craft, Tor Hoerman of Tor Hoerman Law, Roger Denton of Schlichter, Bogard & Denton, Michelle Parfitt of Ashcraft & Gerel, Ned McWilliams of Levin Papantonio, Michael London of Douglas & London and Seth Katz of the firm Burg Simpson. The Pradaxa MDL has consolidated all federal Pradaxa bleeding lawsuits filed against Pradaxa manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, an irresponsible company that still has not recalled Pradaxa from the market despite the huge risk of Pradaxa bleeding dangers.
