At least 100 people in New Jersey who attended Colonia High School have reported very rare forms of cancer, including acoustic neuroma[1] and glioblastoma multiforme[2].
According to reports, three of the very rare brain cancer victims lived in the same neighborhood. However, countless more were found to have lived in neighboring areas and had one commonality, which was that they attended Colonia high school. One potential link to the rare forms of cancer was this complex known as Middlesex Sampling Plant, that was about 30 minutes away from Colonia. Apparently, it was used as one of the nations “early atomic energy program”[3]. The implication is that the energy plant may have elite radiation into the ground or had air drift toward colonial high school for a number of years. This could have contaminated the ground water that was consumed by the high school students there.
Victims of the real brain cancer should contact an attorney if they live within a radius near or attended Colonia high school because they may be entitled to receive compensation for injuries that could have occurred due to the plant being located within 30 minutes of the school. At the current time, any form of rare cancer could be a qualifying criteria because the investigation is still ongoing. The awareness of the situation has just now formally been brought to the public through reporting.
