Murphy beds are undergoing a recall due to a defect that causes them to break and fall off of the wall onto nearby persons or things. The impact of such a heavy bad falling onto a person can certainly cause a serious personal injury claim.

There are certain types of beds being recalled: Ivy Bronx, or Orren Ellise, Stellar Home furniture, and Wade Logan. The particular type of model numbers that are involved in the recall are the S214, S215, S234, and S235.

Types of Claims Against the Manufacturer
The manufacturer responsible for designing and manufacturing these defective beds is Cyme Tech. Cyme Tech has sold each of these beds in many of the super warehouses, such as Walmart, Wayfair, all modern, Amazon, Cymax, and Overstock between February 2014 and May 2022.
