Firefighters arrived on the scene of a small aircraft crash near Phoenix Goodyear Airport. A passing police helicopter noticed the Cessna182 on its roof about a mile south of the airport. Initial reports indicate that the plane struck a power line before the crash. Due to the pilot’s negligence of flying too low to the high voltage lines, the pilot and his passenger died.
The Federal Aviation Administration is still investigating the crash.
