It isn’t just fans but fellow content creators harassing female gamers. As top names in the industry exposed this behavior, more women came forward with their own experiences.

In 2017, close to 13,000 Americans filed sexual harassment complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). There are different forms of sexual harassment.
