Michael Brady Lynch to Lecture at Barry University School of Law
This is Michael Brady Lynch, lead trial attorney at The Michael Brady Lynch Firm.
It is my pleasure to announce that I have been invited as a guest lecturer at Barry University School of Law’s Clinical Placement Program.
Barry University School of Law’s Clinical Placement Program, in conjunction with the Florida Supreme Court, permits primarily third-year law students to practice law as Certified Legal Interns under the direct supervision of an experienced Florida attorney, and the overall responsibility of the Law School’s Director of Clinical Placements. Law students routinely work at government and other public sector law offices specializing in Criminal Prosecution, Criminal Defense, Civil Poverty Law and Civil Government Law. Externs’ professional responsibilities include trying real life criminal and civil cases, advising clients, interviewing witnesses, and preparing all forms of legal documents. The Law School also offers placements in both Federal and State Court judicial chambers, and in a special mediation externship.
All externship students participate in a weekly seminar designed to address the practical considerations involved in their placements, and in overcoming the “gap” that exists between being a 3L and becoming a successful member of the bar. Students receive a letter grade on the seminar portion of their placements and a pass-fail grade on the field portion.
Orlando’s Barry University School of Law is rapidly making a name as one of the best law schools in the Southeast. The Michael Brady Lynch Firm regularly turns to Barry University School of Law for associate lawyers and legal intern candidates.
