Michael Brady Lynch to Lecture on Pradaxa Bleeding Dangers
This is Michael Brady Lynch, lead trial attorney for The Michael Brady Lynch Firm.
It looks like the bleeding risks of the drug Pradaxa is going to be taking up a lot of my time over the next few years. Pradaxa is truly an awful case of corporate malfeasance and putting profits over patient safety.
One aspect of a successful case against the pharmaceutical giants is the effective collaboration between plaintiff attorneys. Huge pharmaceutical corporations have billions of dollars at their disposal to defend their dangerous drugs. Although Pradaxa manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim has acknowledged that Pradaxa has been associated with more than 260 deaths in the last two years, the company will stop at nothing to keep Pradaxa on the market. As of April 2012, eight Pradaxa lawsuits have been filed by victims of injury and death related to Pradaxa bleeding. These claims have been filed against Pradaxa manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, an irresponsible company that still has not recalled Pradaxa from the market despite the huge risk of Pradaxa bleeding dangers.
Boehringer Ingelheim is a pharmaceutical juggernaut and Pradaxa is one of their most important drugs from an economic standpoint. This, in turn, will serve as an incentive to the company to invest tens of millions of dollars in the defense of Pradaxa and keep Pradaxa on the market as along as possible. One of the ways trial lawyers combat this uneven playing field in terms of resources is by assembling a core group of plaintiff attorneys that combine knowledge, expertise, and capital to spearhead the litigation against Pradaxa. My firm has been involved in Pradaxa litigation since Pradaxa bleedings dangers first came to the attention of regulators in the US and overseas.
Plaintiff-only seminars are a great way to get the word out about the specifics of a particularly dangerous drug and Pradaxa is no different. I am often invited to lecture at seminars and with my in-depth knowledge concerning Pradaxa, and I am contacted every day by fellow attorneys with questions about the risk of Pradaxa bleeding dangers.
Last week I lectured for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) at the seminar “Handling the Pradaxa Claim” in Baltimore. Over 75 leading attorneys from around the country were in attendance to learn more about Pradaxa and Pradaxa bleeding dangers. “Handling the Pradaxa Claim” one of the best planned, executed and informative seminars I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. It was a perfect example of how a core group of plaintiff attorneys can come together and work collaboratively for mutual benefit in Pradaxa litigation.
This week I will be traveling to Las Vegas for the seminar Mass Torts Made Perfect. I have been lecturing at Mass Torts Made Perfect for over 10 years and it is always a first-class operation. This week I will be lecturing at the Mass Torts Made Perfect – Pradaxa “Break-Out” session on Pradaxa bleeding dangers and the Pradaxa warning label, with a specific emphasis on Pradaxa bleeding risks and the contrast of the warning label of Pradaxa to that of Coumadin (warfarin).
Another plus about lecturing at Mass Torts Made Perfect is that I get to see so many friends from the across the country and even have a little fun! Mass Torts Made Perfect is always very well attended, thanks in part to being held at a great location. The seminar is hosted at The Wynn, which is a 5-star resort. The Wynn restaurants (my favorite is Wazuzu) and spa are the best in Vegas and the staff treats anyone attending Mass Torts Made Perfect with extra special attention. The Mass Torts Made Perfect Pradaxa session is a must-attend for anyone interested in Pradaxa litigation or wishing to know more about Pradaxa bleeding dangers.
If you are a plaintiff attorney and interested in Pradaxa litigation, I encourage you to attend Mass Torts Made Perfect on April 19-20th, 2012 at The Wynn in Las Vegas. If you can’t make the Pradaxa session and my presentation, I urge you to contact me directly to discuss how we can cooperate on your Pradaxa cases on either a referral or co-counsel relationship.
If you have been a victim of a Pradaxa-related injury or if you or someone you love was taking Pradaxa and suffered a bleeding event, I urge you to contact me directly for a free, no-obligation evaluation of your Pradaxa case.
