What people do not realize is that The Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando isn’t just about assisting Notre Dame alumni or current students. This organization takes a proactive role to solve problems in its community.

About The Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando

Established in 1992, The Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando’s Annual Scholarship and Charity Golf Tournament has raised almost a half a million dollars for scholarships and other local charities. Some of those charities have included SafeHouse of Seminole and Orlando County, which helps victims of domestic violence, The Orlando Ronald McDonald House, the BETA Teen Parent Program and much more.

When Michael Brady Lynch, founder and lead trial attorney for The Michael Brady Lynch Firm heard what a driving force of positive change The Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando is, he knew he had to do his part to help. He decided to help sponsor their annual charity golf tournament to help assist New Hope for Kids, who once again partnered with The Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando as one of their favored charities.

New Hope for Kids delivers support to children and families grieving the death of a loved one. Their Grief Support Program provides a safe and supportive environment where grieving can share their experience in a safe space supported by others facing the same feelings of loss. This is a unique opportunity for children to begin and continue their grief journey in a healing environment.

New Hope for Kids does not receive any funding from government agencies and depends upon charitable donations. So when organizations like The Michael Brady Lynch Firm decide to help, it becomes so important in assisting the lives of these children.
